. This is an excellent hotel, with a location full of pluses and minuses. We had the good fortune to stay on the top floor with a balcony, and had a breathtaking view of the Hagia Sophia, and the minarets of the Blue Mosque. It was exactly between the two in terms of Hearing the call to prayer, and these two mosques go back and forth in a memory we will have forever. A short, slightly uphill walk puts you at the centre of old Istanbul. Early in the morning will put you first in line with little effort. Close to the tram line if that’s what you’re doing, which gets you to the ferries. The down side is that you will have to run a gauntlet of restaurants who want your business very much, and very friendly carpet-sellers who will want your time and money. Quality of both varies from the reasonable to the terrible, with not much to help you choose between them but giving them a go. Do so at your risk. Prices are high, especially on the drink, but you are in the middle of where tourists want to be. In my view, this was the nicest hotel in this little area other than the 4 Seasons at almost 10 times the price. The staff are great, the place is clean, it’s a little older. The a/c works pretty good. And it’s position is unique for hitting all those boxes. . .

. It's in a touristy area with lots and lots of restaurants and shops that could get really busy. The hotel itself is pretty decent with nice staff. Nothing too fancy as it's a slightly older building but super clean and cozy. Didn't use any amenities. . .

. We had a lovely stay at GLK Acropolis. The lotcation is excellent, perfect for exploring Istanbul. and the staff is truly formidable, always attentive and welcoming. The room was comfortable, though a bit tight. It could be made a little more cozy and inviting, perhaps with better lighting and some small updates to give it a fresher feel. A big plus for us was the free access to the sauna and Turkish bath, which was fantastic for the whole family and really enhanced our stay. The service throughout was absolutely top-notch and made us feel very well cared for. If I had to mention one downside, the beds were not the most comfortable, and the linen was unusual: instead of sheets or a duvet, there was only a small "towel-like" throw, not even large enough for one person. Something more covering and cozy would have been nicer. I requested a change, but it seems it was missed; it was our only hiccup during the stay. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and would recommend GLK Acropolis for its outstanding location and exceptional service.. .

. Harika bir konaklamaydı Serhan bey bize her konuda yardımcı oldu personel çok güleryüzlüydü ve her konuda işlerini titizlikle yaptıklarını fark edebiliyorsunuz. Ailemle beraber gittim ve herkes çok memnun zaman geçirdi, bir gece kalmamıza rağmen dinlenmiş bir şekilde ayrıldığımız ve İstanbul’a tekrar gelirsem uğrayacağım bir otel. Lokasyon olarak da çok merkezi her yere yürüyerek gidebileceğimiz kadar yakın.. .
